While there is no airport directly in Orihuela, there are two airports relatively close by. Alicante–Elche Airport (ALC): Also known as El Altet, this is the primary airport servicing Orihuela. It is located about 53 kilometres (33 miles) from the city centre and offers both domestic and international flights. Region of Murcia International Airport (RMU): Situated approximately 67 kilometres (42 miles) from Orihuela, this airport serves as an alternative for travellers visiting the region. It offers a variety of domestic and international flights as well. Both airports provide good connectivity to Orihuela, with various transport options available, including rental cars, taxis, buses, and private transfers.
